Angels are the ministering spirits of God that travels between the heavens and the earth. The bible speaks specifically about them and their role as messengers of God. In addition, their presence is mentioned in the bible as witnesses to the creation of the earth. Here is an extract from the book of Job, chapter 38:
“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
5Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
6On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone—
7while the morning stars sang together
and all the angelsa shouted for joy?
Man vs Angels
Man was made a little below the angels 
according to the bible. Also, they are made to carry out the divine will of God but they have a mind of their own and are creatures made of fire.Their exist in heaven classes and ranks of angels, thus, depicting a hierarchy and a God of order.
On that note, order was disturbed by a group of angels that rebelled against God to establish their own kingdom. The book of Enoch documents their actions and intentions in great detail. As a result, sin and wrong doing entered the realm of men and has since filtered down to the generations of men throughout the ages.

There has been several sightings of angels reported by many persons over the years. Some persons have even attested that angels have helped them out of disaster. In fact, some strange phenomenon have been caught on camera, that shows mystical presence in motion. The following video is just one such example.
What are your beliefs on this matter?
Although, your personal beliefs will not deter the burden of proof… Believe or not, there seem to exist a strong basis for the belief that these creatures exists. The ancient civilizations all believed in the existence of angels, the Greeks and the Jews among many others, have always had such beliefs. As a matter of fact, scriptures from all the major religions of the world seem to support this belief.
