Coronavirus Safeguards!

Coronavirus safeguards are now highly recommended. Remember, there are currently several vaccines developed, not fully available as yet, but will prevent coronavirus disease once received. Notwithstanding… the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed, however tricky that maybe. Needless to say, doing our best is more than good enough. As such… It is suggested that wearing 2 masks together will offer increased levels of protection against the new strains. The word is… the new strain of the Coronavirus is not only more contagious but also more deadly. Hence

CDC always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Wear a mask in public places.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Also…

Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask. Center for Disease Control does recommend that people who are well, also wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19 (Corona Virus).

Coronavirus safeguards on the use of facemasks?

Facemasks should be used by everyone, and especially people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to  others. The use of facemasks is also crucial for health workers and people who are taking care of someone in close settings (at home or in a health care facility). Moreover, a lot of people are using masks that are not Coronavirus Protection Masks

Washing your hands really matter and if you have to choose between a mask and washing your hands – Nobrainer! Wash your hands!

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.

In cases where the washing of hands will not be possible, such as while travelling… Disposable Alcohol Pad is good for hand wipes and as a antibacterial tool cleanser. Wipe down your phone, tab, laptop and all things regularly visited by your hands.

For information about handwashing, check with CDC guidelines or Go Here for information specific to Coronavirus prevention best practices. For your consolation; these practices are everyday habits that help to prevent the spread of germs and can help prevent the spread of several viruses and hopefully, including Coronavirus. Addditionally, the same guidance also works for travelers.
