This is Playstation work!; as she ruefully watch me in disbelief that I am actually being paid to play video games all day. I can still remember my sisters complaining to her that all I do is play video games all day! In addition, I am also destroying the television by playing my Playstation all day. Naturally, the order came from the top to shut me down, this they gladly do so they could get to watch their chick flix and romance movies. They watched action too but girls will always be girls right?
Look at me now! Getting paid to play video games in front of my skeptic mom. She was brought up to believe that except you have on a hard hat, and some work boots… you’re not really working!
Of course, I’m being just a little dramatic but for the most part, my mom has old fashioned ideas about “working with your hands.” Spending all day on a console or computer is an omen of laziness and time wasting. Fortunately, even she has to admit that the world has changed. Now she watches in unbelief. Seeing that cheque at the end of the month will get her into converts classes. ?Lol.
